MathpadDraw is a drawing tool for mathematical objects, both two and three dimensional. A major feature of the program is the ability to annotate a drawing with almost any mathematical text.
Features: MathpadDraw is a mathematical text editor that has graphics capabilities to draw mathematical object also. It can handle both 2D and 3D objects. As a text editor it is capable of handling mathematical expressions. Write exponents, subscripts, fractions and roots effortlessly. The expressions can be as complex as it needs to be, there are no limits. To help you write math related texts it has many word processor like features. A major feature of the program is the ability to annotate a drawing with almost any mathematical text. You can save any drawing as a small proprietary type file or as a PNG image. You can then easily put Mathpad`s output into a web page or any other program. You can get these drawings printed quite easily.
2D objects that you can create include lines, circles and arcs. Most of plane geometry figures thus can be created easily. More sophisticated items include simple polygons, polygon sets, conics etc. polygon set drawing capability allows you to draw things like Venn`s diagram. Curves defined by control points such as Bezier curves and Splines also can be handled by the program. Discrete graphs such as digraphs and trees, function graphs, inequalities, parametric curves and implicit equations are also handled by this program. There`s an animation capability that can be used as a teaching tool on how these mathematical functions behave. Compose quizzes, tests and handouts with the program and it could be great help for running your mathematics classes.
Overall: Nice and easy to use program with a good set of features.
